Tech Prodigy
Overview
Tech Prodigy is a ranged fighter who relies on gadgets, energy blasts, and precise zoning. His kit focuses on controlling space with delayed explosions, rapid beams, and heavy plasma shots. While his base moves are strong for poking and combo setups, his true power comes from his single, devastating ultimate: Photon Wave.
Abilities (Base Form)
Ability 1 — Web-Boom
Throws a small hovering tech orb that detonates after a short delay. Used for zoning, pressure, and setting up combos.
Ability 2 — Trinity Tear
Fires three rapid‑shot energy beams in a spread pattern. Good mid‑range poke and a reliable combo starter.
Ability 3 — Plasma Cannon
Charges and fires a heavy plasma shot that deals big damage. Slower startup but very strong as a punish or whiff punish tool.
Ability 4 — Twin Burst
Shoots two synchronized energy blasts. Fast, reliable, and great for finishing combos or confirming damage.
Ultimate — Photon Wave
Unlike many other characters, Tech Prodigy only has a single ultimate move. He doesn’t gain multiple ult buttons — instead, his entire ult identity is focused on one massive, high‑impact finisher. That sends the opponent in the air and then sliced down to the ground, High damage, Low effectiveness. Hard to use, But the character is yet to see more development later on in the game.
Ultimate Move — Photon Wave
Unleashes a massive sweeping energy wave that hits a wide area. High damage, huge hitbox, and ends most combos. Photon Wave is Tech Prodigy’s signature finisher and defines his ult playstyle.
